Crafted by the inspiration of a twisting fish, this new serviced apartment building’s ground floor is broken into four quadrants centered around a lift lobby.

Concept and Features:
Mnemosyne is the gateway to the east of Sydney and the finishes reflect the local coastal elements and sunkissed bathers on the nearby beaches. Each space initially leads the eye to the outside and then draws the view and sunlight in, influencing the blue and green hues which complement the minimal black and white reception desk with hints of pink in the cafe and bar to contrast.
Entering the luxurious serviced-apartment reception area, you are met by bespoke curved walls that create an organic journey as you walk through the space. This curved motif is echoed in the reception, cafe and bar counters. These custom joinery elements create an intimate, embracing atmosphere for staff and customers.
Other touch-points that are used to attract new clientele through the design of Mnemosyne, are the two interim ‘selfie’ spaces which mark the transition between reception and cafe/bar. Connecting all of Sydney, Mnemosyne used innovative materials in these spaces which drew attention into the colourful, public cafe and bar areas, connected by the backlit blue onyx lift lobby, juxtaposing from a traditional serviced apartment.
